We are in agroindustry, dealing with a commodity from its sourcing to the export of the ready-to-be-consumed good. We work with people all along the value-chain, from the producers to the end-consumers, together with other financial and/or technical partners.

The position contributes to the Marketing strategy of Beyond Good, a consumer brand in the U.S. market, and is responsible for results across multiple disciplines. Reporting into the US-based Head of Marketing, this individual will be a vital member of the global team, building and leading a local team of marketing specialists and working cross-functionally to support innovation and product integrity. This position will have budget for 3-5 direct reports, and the individual will be responsible for building the team.

On-going Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with the US-based Head of Marketing to ensure alignment on strategy and priorities
• Provide day-to-day leadership for the Antananarivo-based marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability
• Drive owned channel activation and continuous optimization, including social media, email marketing, website content, influencer programs, and brand partnerships. Ensure timely procurement, creation, or coordination of assets to execute plans effectively.
• Support eCommerce growth, with a particular focus on leading the development and expansion of the affiliate marketing program with a
focus on performance metrics and ROI
• Establish and maintain quality control and documentation processes related to packaging and product specifications to uphold brand and product integrity
• Provide project leadership for new product development (NPD) and portfolio optimization initiatives, ensuring the maintenance of a comprehensive product roadmap. Support long-term strategic planning and stage-gate processes to meet innovation goals

• Achieve a 33% increase in shopper penetration and a 100% increase in social reach and share of voice within strategic topics
• Build and nurture a high-performing, world-class marketing team
• Contribute to the enhancement of company culture by fostering a collaborative, mission-driven environment while contributing to the
company’s strategic direction and deepening the brand-consumer relationship
• Implement scalable marketing frameworks and data-driven decision-making processes to guide future growth

The only real qualification for this position is that the candidate can get the job done, as evidenced by having gotten a similar job done with another company.

REQUIRED SKILLSET

The candidate must have a strong base of marketing and management experience where they have demonstrated their ability to build and lead a successful team that delivers against aggressive business objectives. The candidate must be curious, collaborative, and resourceful to contribute to the marketing strategy and ongoing refinement of the executional playbook. That playbook needs to include:

1. Contributing to our understanding of our core and growth consumers
2. Building brand love and advocacy
3. Leveraging social media and partnerships to reach and engage new consumers
4. Building a strong bottom funnel that inspires brand love, loyalty, and topline growth
5. Developing scalable marketing frameworks that maintain quality standards while increasing impact and efficiency
6. Managing, coaching and developing Marketing talent
7. Data-based decision making
8. Intuition-based decision making
