The Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing digital communication strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and brand love for Beyond Good. This role will oversee content creation, social media management, influencer and affiliate marketing, email communications, and community engagement. Working closely with the US-based marketing team, this person will ensure that Beyond Good’s storytelling is authentic, compelling, and aligned with business objectives.

This role reports to the Madagascar-based Marketing Director and collaborates with both Madagascar- and US-based teams across innovation, eCommerce, graphic design, and PR to amplify the brand’s presence in the US market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Communication & Content Strategy
· Develop and execute breakthrough communication and marketing strategies to drive awareness and brand affinity across digital channels.
· Create and maintain a communications calendar to plan and organize key brand moments, content themes, and campaigns.
· Oversee the development of social media content (organic and paid), email campaigns, and digital storytelling efforts that resonate with a US audience.
· Collaborate with internal and external resources (designers, writers, photographers, videographers) to secure high-quality content and assets.

2. Social Media & Community Engagement
· Manage Beyond Good’s social media presence, ensuring engagement, responsiveness, and brand consistency.
· Develop and execute a consumer advisory panel, fostering deeper connections with our audience and gathering insights to inform brand decisions.
· Actively engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and discussions to strengthen brand loyalty.
· Analyze social media performance and provide recommendations for optimization.

3. Influencer & Affiliate Marketing
· Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors who align with Beyond Good’s mission and values.
· Develop and execute an affiliate marketing program, tracking partnerships to drive brand awareness and sales.
· Collaborate with the US team to ensure strategic alignment and potential scalability of these efforts.

4. Email Marketing & CRM
· Oversee the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns, ensuring they support broader marketing goals.
· Develop engaging email content that strengthens brand storytelling, nurtures loyalty, and drives advocacy.
· Manage CRM segmentation and analyze email performance metrics to improve effectiveness.

5. PR & Brand Credibility Support
· Work closely with PR teams to ensure communications efforts are aligned and synergized.
· Support PR and earned media efforts by developing brand assets, storytelling content, and credibility-building initiatives.
· Ensure brand messaging remains consistent across all external touchpoints.

6. Performance Measurement & Reporting
· Track, analyze, and report on KPIs related to communication efforts, including social engagement, influencer partnerships, and email performance.
· Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
· Stay up to date on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing.

· 5+ years of experience in social media, communications, or related fields.
- Is fluent in English with superior written and oral communication skills
· Strong ability to understand and keep up with US social media landscape, consumer behaviors, and emerging trends.
· Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling brand narratives.
· Experience in social media management, email marketing, influencer marketing, and community engagement.
· Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g. Klaviyo) preferred
· Experience with performance tracking and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, influencer and affiliate tracking platforms).
· Ability to work cross-functionally with US and Madagascar-based teams.
· Excellent organizational and project management skills.
· Passion for sustainability, ethical sourcing, and mission-driven brands.
